ODO THE DRAGONFLY

First in a series of insect art cars, Odo (short for Odonata, the scientific order of dragonflies) was built from the ground up as a motorized, ridable insect. Though built from scratch, various design elements were repurposed from other Merrick Industries’ designs. For example, the eyes were copied from the Now-A-Saurus, which was Merrick Industries’ debut project. New features include the suspension, which was discovered through trial and error, but eventually realized.
