GEAR CHANDELIER
The Gear Chandelier is a kinetic luminaire designed for The Factory, a concert venue outside of St. Louis, Missouri. Its design replicates an enlarged bevel gear and pinion gear combination that uniquely holds two dodecahedron infinity lights. In homage to St. Louis’ history, distinguished for its factories and manufacturing plants, the Chandelier emulates a weathered, industrial, steampunk aesthetic. It also incorporates sacred geometry, modern software, and interactive controls to inspire the area’s future of art, entertainment, business, and community.
