NOW-A-SAURUS

Now-A-Saurus is a dinosaur size insect art car that time travels it’s passengers to the moment of now. This iconic car was Merrick Industries’ first major art project, requiring many different skillsets to create functional, yet aesthetically pleasing shapes. The project started with a 1998 Geo Prizm car that was stripped down to its engine and transmission, and then built into a drivable art piece. A lot of engineering went into the the steering and electrical system to make the eight-foot center-wheel rotate while driving.
